Profile:
I am a disciplined and resilient student keen to pursue to music as a profession and also
an educator. I am seeking an internship that will utilize my music and communication
skills developed through my voluntary involvement with Live Performances, working with
UWCs service partners and through my experience working in an audio recording
studio.

During my education I have successfully combined my academic studies with learning

opportunities from social education using my talent in music. I have shown myself to be
self-motivated and capable of working under pressure. I have a practical and logical
approach to problem solving and have a hands on approach to organizing and managing
an event. I am adaptable and am willing to contribute to society by volunteering my
services during my summer break to involve in a meaningful activity that can utilize my
skills and be beneficial to those keen to explore the world of music.

2016 - 2017 One of two Lead guitarists chosen from my school at Jesus Christ
Superstar performed for 3 nights at UWC Singapore total audience figures of
around 1600. I was also a key member of the production team in addition to playing
the music.

Pieces of Work in the Studio:
Im quite familiar working in a studio environment having fulfilled the role of the producer,
the editor or the player on numerous occasions. I mainly work with Logic Pro X as my
DAW however am quite comfortable on Ableton Live as well. For Plugins I mainly use
Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol, iZotope Ozone 7s Mastering Suite and the
Waves Collections of Plugins along with single plugins by other third party companies.

3. A music technology composition which I submitted part of my IB composition
Portfolio. It utilized techniques such as sampling and vocoding. I used many
different VST Plugins as well as Synths and manipulating techniques whie
creating this. My Intention was to create a foreboding mood to underscore the
storyline of our high school theater production Macbeth. To give a foreboding
nature I experimented with motifs and the use of moods in the piece. I was
influenced by exploring and listening to different types of traditional Chinese and
Mongolian music which also helped me to fulfill my brief.
