Clase 1: Verbo TO BE

El verbo TO BE significa SER ESTAR y se conjuga con las distintas personas de la siguiente manera:

I am (Yo soy / Yo estoy) Abreviatura: Im

You are (T eres = Vos sos / T ests = Vos ests) Ab.: Youre
He is (l es / l est) Ab.: Hes
She is (Ella es / Ella est) Ab.: Shes
It is (l/Ella es / l/Ella est) Ab.: Its

They are (Ellos son / Ellos estn) Ab.: Theyre

Ejemplos:

I am a doctor: Soy doctor.

I am here: Estoy aqu.

You are a dentist: Eres dentista.

(Idem nota anterior)
He is Argentine: l es argentino.

En ingls los pronombres I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they siempre acompaan al verbo.
He is ready: l est listo.
She is English: Ella es inglesa.
She is there: Ella est all.
It is a box: Es una caja.

No

We are students: Somos alumnos.

We are at school: Estamos en la escuela.
