- This study discusses the systemic issues that face teachers and ELL students
regarding the common core as well as the efforts that are made to resolve such
issues. The solution is a developmental credential and multicultural training
outlined highlighting policy change, systematic evaluation and in-service teacher

- This study asked how adult experience academic language in the classroom and
how does it relate to their constructive-developmental perspective. The study
found that participants heald diverse developmental perspectives, which made a
qualitative difference in academic language learning experiences.

- It is different for schools and districts to specifically understand the necessary
accommodations need for ELLs. This study was an attempt to examine how

- This study investigates the way teacher think when teaching mathematics to
students who are considered ELLs. What is discussed in the article are the
assumptions as to how math teachers engage their ELL students, methodology to
acquire data and an analysis of the results.
