FABRICATION OF SENSOR OPERATED MOTORISED SHEET

FORMING MACHINE

SYNOPSIS

This unit consists of DC Motor 12V DC, Power supply 12V DC, crank
mechanism, work table for placing the job and Punching die set.
Initially the job to be punched is placed in the machine table unit. Here one
12VDC Power Supply is used to supply the DC power to the motor. A SENSOR is
mounted at the door side. When closing the door , the sensor which passes the
power supply to the DC motor. Then press the start switch. The DC Motor starts
rotating. The rotary motion of the Motor shaft is converted to reciprocating motion
by the crank mechanism.
The male punch die is connected to the reciprocating unit. Hence the
punching tool moves to and fro and thus the punching takes places. .

DISADVANTAGES

Manual power required to operate .

-The time taken for loading and unloading the kit is more when compared to
pneumatic controlled unit.
It cannot be used for more than 5mm thickness plastic sheet..
