CLASSROOM NEWS
Hello Parents/Guardians! Happy spring! Its hard to believe that March has gone as
quickly as it came and April is here! Your students have begun a countdown to the last
day of school and we cant believe its less than 40 days! I guess time really does fly
when youre having fun! We have been enjoying our time learning about money, time,
and place value in math as well as main idea and informative writing during language
arts! You should be so proud of your student as theyve grown so much since they
entered the classroom in August! I wanted to take a few moments to share what will be
happening in the classroom over the next month with our new science unit. Take a look
below and see!

Science Unit Publishing Party

We will be starting a research
on the states of matter!
Students will be working in
small groups to become experts
on a state of matter, create an
informational book, and share it
with the class. We are all so
excited about this project and
all we will learn!
Youre invited to a party in D-1! On Thursday, April
28th at 1:45 we will be having a publishing party to
celebrate the completion of our research project. The
students will be sharing their research findings over
root beer floats! They all would love to share their
new knowledge with you and be the teachers for a bit!
It will mean the world to them if you can be present.
