Computerized Record Management System with A Taxi

Meter Amount Tracking Device

Description:
This study endeavors to develop a Record Management System with A Tracking Device that can
input and monitor the records of Specific Transport Company- computing the expenses and its
relationship to the boundaries of every unit (taxi), including the Daily Time Record of the taxi drivers and
the track.

Objectives:
General Objective:
This study aims to develop a Computerized Record Management System with A Taxi Meter
Amount Tracking Device.

Specific Objectives:
1. To develop a system for the company to quickly access the drivers and taxi records.
2. To design a system that will compute the expenses and boundaries of every unit, that is
used within a certain day.
3. To design a system that includes the Daily Time Record of the drivers.
4. To develop a system that can give a Monthly Financial Statement of every unit.
5. To develop a system that includes a tracking device for taxi meter in every unit, tracking the
exact amount the driver gathered within that day.
Scope:
1. Admin (Operator) and Users (Dispatcher, Secretary) should log-in to operate the system.
2. Dispatcher can input records of the boundary in every unit.
3. Dispatcher can input the drivers ID number and monitors the information of the drivers,
whether they are regular or part-timer.
4. Secretary can record and monitor the expenses in every unit.
5. Admin and Dispatcher will used the tracking device to be inserted and the system will read
the amount of boundary have been gathered from a certain unit, used within that day.
6. Admin can fully access the system, including the task of the Dispatcher and Secretary.
7. Admin can generate the System Report.
Delimitation:
1. The proposed system does not include passengers information within the system.
2. The proposed system does not require online connection or any transaction.
3. The proposed system does not include banking transaction for the salary distribution of the
taxi drivers.
4. The proposed system does not include any government agencies concern, such as the SSS,
GSIS, Philhealth, PAG-IBIG and etc.
5. The proposed systems tracking device does not include GPS of the unit (taxi).
(Note: It is only a prototype program..)
