Dear Candidate

We have made a brief template of how a CV should be presented to a client.

NOTES:

The most important part of the CV is your job titles at each individual position. At
first glance this is the first thing clients notice and the first thing that makes them
make up their minds. Make sure it is clear and precise. Staff Nurse or Nurse is not
sufficient. We need for instance: Staff Nurse: ICU Cardiology

Duties and responsibilities: We need you to give us a good idea of what you do.
These are your duties as a nurse.

Case dealt with now here you have got an opportunity to show your knowledge in
the field and the variety of things you have dealt with but be warned make very
sure you are 100% confident in the medical cases you mentioned as this may cause
you embarrassment in an interview if you do not know all the details. Be precise,
ensure youre spelling of the illness or condition is correct!

Equipment Handled believe it or not this is a very important part of your cv.
Hospitals wants to know if you have handled ventilators etc. Include this for every
position.

I know that a lot of you like to include a short summary of yourself and your ideals
although this is really nice it is not the best thing to put at the top of your cv
remember the people looking at your cv is senior directors and have a very limited
time available to them! Leave this to end of your CV and still keep it to your career
goals, achievements and future development.

Education Please remember that this is just as important as your experience.

Please include all the relevant information on your Tertiary studies. Where you
studied, what date it was complete and the full qualification you attained. IELTS
information must be included on the CV.

Seminars and training This is all the training and seminars you have attended
once you have started working all your post grad training this is important as it
shows your commitment to nursing

REMEMBER Clients look at your CV to see your ENGLISH writing skills! Make
sure of grammar and spelling!

We hope this is of some assistance to you!
