    To upgrade GTMU software: 1. Extract the latest Huawei 2G R016 software and browse to the GTMU downgrade file with the new version number. 2. Start the forced software download and wait for it to complete 100%. 3. Go to software activation and input the same new version number, selecting GTMU_MAIN. 4. After resetting automatically, configure the necessary IP settings over FE such as BTS, BSC, and clock IPs.

    How To Upgrade GTMU

    In Old Version GTMUs window look like below snap

    To upgrade it we need Latest Huawei 2G R016 Software. Extract it and follow below steps
    Get Management Rights
    Go to Forced software download
    ====Brows below
    C:\Users\Shabakkat\Desktop\Huawei 2G R016 Software\Huawei 2G R016
    Software\GBTS\Download\BTS3900V100R008C00SP300\gtmudown.pck
    And Put Version V100R008C00SP30
    And start
    After 100% Completion=====Go to Software Activation
    Put the same version i.e V100R008C00SP30
    Select GTMU_MAIN
    Click OK.After some time it will complete and site will reset Automatically
    After Reset, Go to IP Over FE Static IP and Configure BTS, BSC , Aggregator and Clock 1 Clock 2 IPs.
