UR-series UR-V side-mounting front panel assembly instructions

Overview
The following procedure describes how to assemble the UR-V enhanced front panel for
side-mounting.

Procedure
1. Remove the UR-series L-bracket (part number 1003-0074) with attached hinges (part
numbers 1460-0007, 1460-0008, and 1460-0009) from the assembly.

 2. Attach the UR-V enhanced front panel bottom side-mounting bracket (part number
1001-0069) to the bottom of the UR-V front panel (part number 18A0-0456) using the
three #10-32 -inch screws (part number 1460-0009) as shown below.

tightening torque: 20 lb-in

3. Tighten the screws using a tightening torque of 20 lb.-in, ensuring the bracket is snug
to the UR-V front panel.

 4. Attach the UR-V enhanced front panel top side-mounting bracket (part number 1001-
0070) to the top of the UR-V front panel (part number 18A0-0456) using the custom
thumb screw attached to the bezel.

5. Turn the thumb screw until the bracket is snug to the UR-V front panel as shown
below.

The assembly of the side-mounting UR-V front panel is now complete. Refer to the
following documents for instructions on attaching the side-mounting UR-V panel.
GEK-113181: Attaching the UR-V side mounting front panel to a horizontal mount UR-
series device.
GEK-113182: Attaching the UR-V side mounting front panel to a vertical mount UR-
series device.
