 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. The sample IDP (Institutional Development Plan) given is only for reference
purpose. Colleges may refer this IDP for preparation of their institutional
IDP. (Sample IDP)

2. The colleges are requested to read the attached RUSA Draft Guidelines for
further information.
3. The review process of IDPs should be followed by respective college
Principals and college RUSA Coordinators by coordinating with district,
regional and DCE review team subsequently.

4. Time Schedule

Last date for submission of soft copy

of IDPs to Regional Coordinators 17th July 2014

Last date to Review the soft copy of

IDPs by Regional Coordinators 19th July 2014
Last date for approval of soft copy of
IDP from DCE IDP review team 21th July 2014
Last date to submit hard copy of IDPs
to Department of Collegiate 25rd July 2014

Creation of Universities by conversion of colleges in a cluster

Applicable colleges list are given below:

The college is required to prepare IDP under the component 2 for Creation
of Universities by conversion of colleges in a cluster by coordinating
with lead cluster college. The grant is subjected to a maximum of Rs 55
crores for current plan period 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17.

The college is required to propose the fund requirement for the next plan
period 2017-18 to 2021-22 as an Annexure.

2017-18 to 2021-22 as an Annexure to the maximum of Rs. 2 crores.

component 7. The grant is subjected to a maximum of Rs 2 crores for current
plan period 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17. Prepare IDP budget based on
component 7 budget format.

The college is required to propose the fund requirement for the next plan period
2017-18 to 2021-22 as an Annexure to the maximum of Rs. 2 crores.
