 Design and installation of an off grid 1.6 kW Photovoltaic system
 Design and installation of a off grid well pumping sytem to provide water to the community
 Design of a Photovoltaic direct drive pumping system to provide water to the community

Project Manager and Installer, 2008-2009


FLS Energy, Black Mountain, NC
Project manager for two large solar installations. Worked with a team of installers building small residential and commercial
solar systems.
 Managed the construction of a unique 50 kW concentrating solar photovoltaic array for Megawatt Solar
 Managed installation and helped design a 42 panel solar thermal array for domestic hot water heating.
 Worked with installation crews on the installation of small to mid size residential and commercial installations.

Business Planning/Sales/Technical Support, 2006-2007

Sold solar thermal systems to members, provided technical support to the office and worked on business planning for a
recycled vegetable oil pickup business.
 Wrote a business plan for a recycled oil pickup business.
 Sold solar thermal systems by calling members and supporters of the cooperative.
