The Involvement of Citizens in Network Society

Abstract: The coming of network society has brought with it changes to the overall situation of traditional
government and society, which has created new conditions for the involvement of citizens. Represented by network
involvement, the overall involvement of citizens enjoys special features in contents, ways and means, which has
exerted extensive influences in Chinese society and has compelled the transition of the government functions. In
this process, rule of law is especially needed to cope with the network governance.
