Catchment Areas for Bridges on R75-2

The plots are on scale 1:25 000


The grid used for calculating the area: 0.5km x 0.5km - thus one block = 0.25 km^2

Using the grid to calculate areas:


Because the size of the grid is limited I created a system to determine the catchment areas.
For every catchment the orientation of the grid can be different, but once an orientation is selected you
have to stick with it for the specific catchment area.

Indicates the corners of the grid. The numbers in the corner indicates the
amount of squares in that block. To get the area of the block you multiply
the number of squares with 0.25 - - km^2
