2016 scheduled to be held on Friday,21st July 2017 at Eco Vista Club, Rajarhat,Kolkata.
This Maiden Commencement will precede the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Institute organized
on Saturday,22nd July 2017. In view of IIM National Councils approval on the subject, we have already
published the first circular inviting Chapters, IIM Members and Students with an objective to catalyze
participation in this event.

The candidates who passed AMIIM and whose results were published in June-December 2015 &
June-December 2016 shall be eligible for the aforesaid felicitation. They shall be convocated to
their respective Degrees ONLY IN PERSON. No degrees shall be presented IN ABSENTIA
The eligible candidates who are intending to receive their Degrees in the above convocation, may
apply in the prescribed application form available in the Institutes website www.iim-india,net,
The filled in application forms along with copy of all academic credentials shall be submitted in
person /email / mail to the Secretary General , so as to reach the office on or before 31 -05-2017.
together with the DD of Rs.1500/- drawn in favour of The Indian Institute of Metals.
The name and address of the candidate should be mentioned on the back-side of the Demand draft
invariably.
The Institute is not responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit. The President IIM request
Chapters to take an initiative to reach out to AMIIM candidates enabling momentous
participation.
An approved List of AMIIM candidates who have successfully completed AMIIM Examination
in 2015 and 2016 is readily available in the website
