5. SYSTEM MANAGEMENT INDICATORS

To know if our quality management system is on track we must measure it
and for this we need indicators. These indicators can be values, units,
indexes, statistical series, etc .; Are factors to establish the achievement
and fulfillment of the mission, objectives and goals of a given process.

Some points to follow: establishing our goals that must be quantifiable,

establishing indicators for each success factor, designing a statistical
process of measurement as a source of information, measuring frequency,
assigning a responsible person and resources, testing the system,
standardizing the system To the entire institution, to maintain improvements
continuously.

6. SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

PHASE 1 SENSITIZATION STAGE: we are aware of the culture of quality and the
constant improvement of processes.

PHASE 2 STRATEGIC PLANNING STAGE: We plan the direction and direction we

want from our institution in the long term. In this phase is where we develop the
mission, vision, beliefs, values, strategic areas, key strategies, action plans,
budget.

PHASE 3 IMPLEMENTATION STAGE: We implement the methodologies and tools of

the improvement process and carry out the activities to create and maintain a
Culture of Quality.

PHASE 4 SYSTEM EVALUATION AND IMPROVEMENT: we monitor, evaluate and audit

the systems implemented to evaluate their effectiveness and define new
improvement plans,

CONCLUSIONS
THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF THE SANTA MARIA CENTER WAS BASED ON THE ISO 9001:
2000 STANDARD USED AS THE BASIS OF THE EXISTING QUALITY SYSTEM AT THE CENTER. WITH THE
COLLABORATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY AND THE QUALITY COMMITTEE THAT SHOULD
BE IN CHARGE OF PERFORMING THE UPDATES OF THESE.

THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SHOULD BE MONITORED UNDER A SERIES OF INDICATORS

THAT ARE RELATED TO THE QUALITY OBJECTIVES AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE CONTINUOUS
IMPROVEMENT OF THE INSTITUTION'S PROCESSES. AS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE SYSTEM, AN
ECONOMIC EVALUATION OF THE PROJECT WILL BE CARRIED OUT TO DETERMINE THE COST THAT
THIS SYSTEM WOULD GENERATE IN THE CENTER IF THE INSTITUTION CONSIDERED TO OPT FOR THE
ISO 9001: 2000 CERTIFICATION.
