Ingredients
6 envelopes
unflavoured gelatin
1 cup cold water
1 cups boiling water
4 cups sugar
tsp flavoured extract (lemon, orange, peppermint, etc)
food colouring
extra sugar for coating (1/2 cup)

Instructions

1 In a large pot (yes, a large stew pot, you'll need it!), stir together the
gelatine and cold water. Let sit 5 minutes.
2 Meanwhile, let the additional water come to a boil in a small saucepan
or in the microwave.
3 Pour the boiling water over the gelatine mixture and stir until dissolved,
about 1 minute.
4 Stir in the sugar.
5 Place the pot over a burner at medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, then
reduce heat to medium-low. Let simmer for about 25 minutes stirring
constantly and scraping sides to avoid burning any sugar. The mixture
will get quite thick.
6 Remove from heat and stir in the flavour extract of your choice. Next,
add food colouring, or divide the mixture among bowls and add food
colouring for multiple colours.
7 Pour gelatine into silicone mold
8 Refrigerate 8 hours.
9 Remove candy from molds. If you need to cut the candies, run your
knife under hot water before each cut to avoid sticking. Roll in extra
sugar to coat.
10 Place on a wax paper lined tray. Cover with a tea towel and let sit at room
temperature for 48 hours to crystallise.

PUTTY

Ingredients:

- Elmers Glue-All (8-ounce container)
- Borax
- Water
- Food colouring
- Bowl
- Measuring cup
- Spoon
- Plastic storage bag

Step 1
Open the glue bottle and pour the entire contents into the bowl. Add
warm water to the empty glue bottle, replace the lid and shake it for
several seconds. Open the glue bottle again and pour this warm
water into the bowl. Stir the glue and water well.
Step 2
Place two or three drops of food coloring into the glue-and-water
mixture and stir the food coloring in.

Step 3
Pour 1/2 cup of warm water into the measuring cup. Measure a
teaspoon of Borax and sprinkle this on top of the warm water. Stir
this mixture well.
Step 4
Add the Borax water slowly to the glue mixture in the bowl, stirring
as you pour. After adding approximately half of the Borax mixture,
set the spoon aside and begin to mix the concoction with your
hands.

Step 5
Continue kneading the concoction with your hands and adding the
Borax water. After the water is all added, knead until you have the
desired consistency.

Step 6
Shape and mold the mixture as desired and place it in the plastic
bag to store.
BOUNCY BALL

IIIngredients:
- Borax (found in laundry section)
- warm water
- corn starch
- glue (clear glue makes a see transparent ball and white glue makes
an opaque ball)
- 2 small mixing cups
- a stirring stick (plastic spoon)

Procedure:
1 Label one cup Borax Solution and the other cup Ball Mixture.
2 Pour 4 ounces (120ml) of warm water into the cup labeled Borax
Solution and 1 teaspoon of the borax powder into the cup. Stir the
mixture to dissolve the borax.
3 Pour 1 tablespoon of glue into the cup labeled Ball Mixture. Add
3-4 drops of food coloring, if desired.
4 Add 1/2 teaspoon of the borax solution you just made and 1
tablespoon of cornstarch to the glue. Do not stir.
5 Allow the ingredients to interact on their own for 10-15 seconds
and then stir them together to fully mix.
6 Once the mixture becomes impossible to stir, take it out of the cup
and start molding the ball with your hands. The ball will start out
sticky and messy, but will solidify as you knead it. Once the ball is
less sticky, continue rolling between your hands until it is smooth
and round!
