GROUP REPORT ASSIGNMENT
October 2016 Trimester (Session 201610)

Objective:
Students will develop analytical skills through the comprehensive assessment of
the organization and foster team work collaboration in accomplishing the
assignment.

Question:
Each group is required to select ONE (1) company (either local or foreign) to
conduct the given research. With the chosen company, act as an analyzer to
assess the organizations SWOT, uncertainties faced and the way in which the
organization responds to these uncertainties. Students are required to assess
the competitive strategies of the company and support with real-life
examples.

Note: Actual references to companys strategies are required.

Instructions:
-Form a group of 4 to 5 persons.
-Comprehend the given assignment.
-Accomplish the assignment in accordance to the given marking scheme and
format requirements.

Format of Assignment

The written assignment should be in the following format:


Font Name and Size: Times New Roman, 12
Double spacing on white A4 size paper
Justified (Alignment)
Insert page numbers
Should NOT exceed 15 pages (references and appendices are not
included in the page count)
Include a content page (Table of content)
Include standard cover page
Attach the Marking Scheme at the back of the assignment
The report must be stapled neatly for submission. DO NOT BIND your
reports.

* If any of the above criteria is not met, one mark (1m) for each criteria
missed will be deducted from the total marks of the group assignment.

Late Submission Penalty Clause

The deadline for the submission of the group assignment:


Friday 25th November 2016 by 12.00pm (Week 9).
No extension of time will be allowed except in circumstances such as:
medical reasons.
Late submission of assignments will result in a penalty: 10% deduction
for each day it is delayed.
