STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I am keen to follow the MBA in marketing at MYRA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, MYSORE since
the course and its learning outcomes meet my academic pursuits. Moreover, the degree
would lead me gaining my career goal and its developments.

There are number of factors that motivated me in pursuing the programme - the degree
offers a thorough understanding and appreciation of multifaceted business functions
within organisations whilst featuring specialist marketing modules throughout the
course of the programme. The programme prepares students for a variety of general
marketing and management roles in both the private and public sectors.This course will
suit me because I wish to develop a more strategic, integrated approach to marketing
and business management.

As they say without marketing there is no business, Marketing is vital for innovative
companies to remain competitive, and encompasses a range of elements including
brand management, international marketing, communications and e-Business. I will
study all of these areas and apply my knowledge to a range of situations, taking account
of the relationship and interaction with other aspects of business. I will also learn to
design, propose and demonstrate strategic marketing solutions to real business
problems. As part of the process, I will exhibit recognition of how cultural and social
differences affect buying behaviour.

The course will provide me with advanced marketing and branding knowledge and skills
to facilitate my employment and subsequent career development in business and
marketing management. It will develop my ability to reflect on my performance, and to
develop teamwork, written and oral communication skills which are skills essential to
develop my career.

In my recent and most recent studies, I have studied Principles of Marketing, Strategic
Marketing Management modules which are directly related to my chosen programme at
MYRA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS while the other business and management modules have
their parts to contribute in understanding the interrelation marketing in business and
organisations context. In essence, these studies will complement the MBA Marketing
study a great lot. This would help me get the most out of the proposed programme and
perform outstanding result and most importantly achieve maximum knowledge from the
learning outcomes.

I think MYRA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, MYSORE can serve me with a better prospective to
achieve my goals and aspirations. Being top Boutique school it will surely guide me to
the best part of management.
