• I am 15 years old.

2. Do you love playing piano or listening to it?

• I love listening to piano music but I don’t know

how to play it properly because of my lack of

practice.

3. In your music life, had you ever attained something for

being a lover of music?

• Yes, I have attained some form of intelligence

through music.

4. In what way do you apply music in your life?

• I use music as stress reliever and a form of self

expression. I believe any emotion can be displayed

through music.
5. Are you proud of yourself for being a music lover?

• Yes I am! Because I love music, I know a lot of

musical genres which are different important parts

of cultures.

6. Did you have any regrets in loving or making music a

part of your life? Why or why not?

• Not one bit! In fact I believe life wouldn’t exist

without music.

7. What are the possible things that happened to you when

you got attracted to this kind of music?

• I believe I discovered raw emotion especially from

the musical piece, “In The Year 1813”.

8. What do you feel when you’re playing or listening to

this kind of music?

• I feel a plethora of emotions that I usually do not

get from other sources.

9. When you’re sad, can you explain why you’re emotion

changes when you hear this music?

• No sir I can’t.
10. What are the emotional effects of playing classical

piano music or listening to it?

• Listening to classical piano music alters the usual

emotional perception, making whatever emotion we

are experiencing currently being replaced by the

emotion carried by the piano piece.

• Sometimes because some piano music are so

irritating.

• No because I love music.

• Nothing.

• I feel that I want to sing.

• Because of how I interpret the musical piece.

• For me the melody makes the heart of the person and

because of that, they tend to change their emotions

or feelings.

• Yes because it’s another way of expressing my

feelings today, somehow relieves and not the same

time makes me happy.

being a lover of music?

• Yes! When I was in elementary. I was given an award

during our recital.

• Music is my comforter because every time I feel had

music never failed to comfort me and to make me feel

at ease.

• Yes because there are few people who loves and knows

how to play piano and luckily, I am the one of those

people who knows how to play and it’s a great

achievement for me.

• No, I don’t have any regrets because ever since I

never regretted loving something.

you got attracted to this kind of music?

• I fall in love with the music.

• I feel contented and at the same time relax me.

changes when you hear this music?

• It takes the pain that I’ve felt and healed the

wounds.

• The emotional effects depend on the way the music

played.

• Yes I really love listening to piano music because

I love music.

• I learned how to play the piano.

• When I get bored I simply listen to music to relieve

my boredom.

• Yes of course because of you’re a music lover it

means you are proud of yourself.

of your life?

• No and why should I.

you got attracted to this kind of music?

• I determined myself to repeat this song until I

learned it completely.

kind of music?

• It feels like I’m being in love if I would listen to

a love song, but if it’s fast in tempo, I feel like

I’m going to do a “Headbang”.

changes when you hear this music?

• Because as a music lover, for me music is

everything.

piano music or listening to it?

• I easily get carried away and when I hear music, it

makes me feel comfortable and it completes my day.

Analysis and Interpretation

Of Data

1. How old are you?

The ages of the respondents are ranged from

the ages of 15-16.

2. Do you love playing piano or listening to it? Explain.


Majority of the respondents love to play piano but some don’t

but the respondents’ loves music.

3. In your music life, had you ever attained something for

being a lover of music?

Most of the respondents attained something coming from

music.
4. In what way do you apply music in your life?

All of the respondents use music as pain reliever,

entertainment and comforter. To sum up, they use

this to change their unwanted feelings.

5. Are you proud of yourself for being a music lover? Kindly

elaborate.
98% of the respondents are proud to become a lover of

music. So, interests are really a factor of being proud in

becoming a lover of music.

6. Did you have any regrets in loving or making music a part

of you’re life? Why or why not?

None of the respondents had any regrets in loving music

especially classical piano music. Everyone loves music as much

as the respondents do.


7. What are the possible things that happened to you when you

got attracted to this kind of music?

As the respondents tackle the world of music, they were able

to learn something that came from music and no other source

can give.

8. What do you feel when you’re playing or listening to this

kind of music?

All of the respondents had changes in their current

feelings. Therefore, music has a big part in the

emotional aspect of every person

9. When you’re sad, can you explain why your emotion changes

when you hear this music?


Most of the respondents weren’t able to answer the question

but one of the respondents said that it is because of the

power carried by the melody of the piece.


10. What are the emotional effects of playing classical piano

music or listening to it?

Music has the power to change or replace the emotions of the

listeners based on one of the respondents. In addition, it

changes the emotion of the people depending on the kind of

piece used or played.
