Introduction

In this episode of Bet Detective we are not going to bet in the real
world but in a virtual one.

Since a couple of months many bookmakers are now offering virtual

sports betting online. Today I will introduce you to the real fun and
profitable world of virtual football betting.

For this manual I will use www.eurobet.com as an example but you

can find a list of other websites offering virtual sports betting at the
end of this episode.

Why virtual? Because you can place new bets every 90 seconds!

Thats rightin a virtual football league every round lasts for only
90 seconds and a full season is completed every hour 24 hours a
day.

Because I live in Belgium, all examples and screenshots are showing

EUR/but obviously my methods will work just the same way in
any other currency.

This guide contains step-by-step instructions, screenshots and real-life

examples, so it doesnt matter if your betting experience level is
beginner, advanced or professional.

With all of the above in mind, lets get started!

3

Virtual football betting

Right now, go to www.eurobet.com and click on the language of your

choice this will get you to this next page

At the top of the page you will find the menu.

Click on Virtual Sports
This will bring up the next page

Currently you can choose between Football, Horse Racing and

Greyhoundsall three virtual events.

Choose Virtual Football and you will end up straight into the
current season, which by default is the English Premier League.

Lets have a look at the screenshot on the next page

4

As you can see, we are now in the English Premier League, week 17
of the 3 rd season of the day.

Everything is available, just like in the real world you have the
scheduled games, the league table, the odds for each team for a win or
a draw, the number of games played and so oneverything is here.

Take your time to look around a little bit

5

Its just a random computer programright?

Yes and no actuallyyes, it is a computer program and no, it is not

just entirely random.

In a simple random world, you could see Chelsea or Man United at the
bottom of the table at the end of the season with virtual football you
will never see this happen.

Each team is playing in accordance to their real value in their real

league and a team at odds of say 1.45 will win more often than not,
just like in the real world. Sure there will be upsets, but these happen
in the real world toothats why its called betting

So dont worry, every team will win, draw and lose, just like any team
during a real football season.

Thats the beauty of virtual football betting pretty much the same
results as in real life, but faster, much faster24 seasons a day!
6

Fun mode to practice

There is no difference in results between fun mode and real

money mode as both are using the same computer data for all
40 virtual football leagues.

My advice is to use the fun mode first until you have gained enough
confidence and experience to put any real money on. The reason for
this isspeed.

Everything happens quite fast!

Every day at about 11:00 UK time season #1 goes in play.

Every season consists of 38 weeks.
Every week lasts for only 90 seconds.
Every season lasts for only 1 hour.
There are 24 seasons in a day.

In the middle of your betting screen you can see a timer counting
down from 90 to 0 seconds.

When reaching 0, the results for the current round are on their way.
At 83 seconds the results start to show up on your screen.
At 78 seconds all the results are displayed.

So, from now on, you only have 78 seconds to do all you have to do
and place your bets.

Keep on practicing the systems in fun mode first until you can
complete all necessary steps with your eyes closed and your hands
behind your back.

Time for some profitable fun

7

Virtual football betting System #1

Since the very first day I have never lost a single 1.00 using this
betting approach so I know it worksand if you follow the rules to
the letter it works well.

For system #1 we will use a draw system.

In football, every team will end the season with 20% to 30% draws
and this is the same for virtual footballI have never seen a team
with less than 3 draws in a season.

The rules

1. Look for any team that has 0, 1, 2 or 3 draws after the 17th week.
The lower the number of draws, the better the choice.

2. Do not use the team if it is in the top 3 or bottom 3 of the current

league standings.

3. Do not use any of the top 4 teams in your chosen league you can
find the top 4 teams in any league by clicking on Outright Betting
before the start of a new season.
8

Left screenshot: English Premier League.

Right screenshot: Belgian Jupiler League.

These values never change and are the same for all 40 virtual football
leagues, so you only have to check them once.

Betting bank

You should have a betting bank of at least 200 units and your goal will
be to earn 1 unit each time you close a session. It will only take a
couple of minutes, thats it!

For example:

Betting bank: 100.00

Target: 100.00 / 200 units = 0.50

I know you may say that is not a lot of money to earn. But remember,
you will have many opportunities every day or even every hour.

This is like an investmentjust 4 units per day will earn you 2% daily
which can grow pretty fast over time.

Not bad for a few minutes work every day!

On the next page you can see what Im talking about.

Starting bank: 100.00

Target: 100 / 200 = 0.50
Recalculate the unit value after each day

So for day #2
New bank = 102.00
New unit value = 102.00/200 = 0.51

And so on
9

DAY UNIT PROFIT BANK

0 - - 100.00
1 0.50 2.00 102.00
2 0.51 2.04 104.04
3 0.52 2.08 106.12
4 0.53 2.12 108.24
5 0.54 2.16 110.40
6 0.55 2.20 112.60
7 0.56 2.24 114.84
8 0.57 2.28 117.12
9 0.59 2.36 119.48
10 0.60 2.40 121.88
11 0.61 2.44 124.32
12 0.62 2.48 126.80
13 0.63 2.52 129.32
14 0.65 2.60 131.92
15 0.66 2.64 134.56
16 0.67 2.68 137.24
17 0.69 2.76 140.00
18 0.70 2.80 142.80
19 0.71 2.84 145.64
20 0.73 2.92 148.56
21 0.74 2.96 151.52
22 0.76 3.04 154.56
23 0.77 3.08 157.64
24 0.79 3.16 160.80
25 0.80 3.20 164.00
26 0.82 3.28 167.28
27 0.84 3.36 170.64
28 0.85 3.40 174.04
29 0.87 3.48 177.52
30 0.89 3.56 181.08

Return on investment (ROI) = 81%it will grow even faster if you

recalculate your unit value after each session instead of each day!
10

Staking plan

Once you have a team to follow using the simple rules, you will have
to calculate how much to bet in order to win your target profit.

We are going to use a simple formula

Bet = Target / (Odds 1)

All previous lost money will be added to your next target.

For example:

Bet #1
Odds 3.65 for the draw
Target = 0.50
Bet = 0.50 / (3.65 1) = 0.19
LOST

Bet #2
Odds 4.33 for the draw
Target = 0.50 + 0.19 = 0.69
Bet = 0.69 / (4.33 1) = 0.21
LOST

Bet #3
Odds 4.15 for the draw
Target = 0.50 + 0.19 + 0.21 = 0.90
Bet = 0.90 / (4.15 1) = 0.29
WON
You start a new session

On the next page you will find a real-life example

11

Real-life example

As you can see, we are now in the 18th week of the 8 th season of the
English Premier League.

At the moment there are 9 teams with 2 or less drawsthe number of

draws is between brackets

Newcastle (2) Top 3 in the current league NO

Man United (2) Top 4 league value team NO
Arsenal (2) Top 4 league value team NO
Middlesbrough (2) YES
Chelsea (1) Top 4 league value team NO
Blackburn (2) YES
Liverpool (2) Top 4 league value team NO
Man City (2) YES
West Ham (2) YES

You could pick just any of the 4 teams that fit the rulesI prefer to go
with West Ham as they are available at the highest odds (3.80) for a
draw and so my first stake will be lower.
12

The draw for West Ham is available @ odds 3.80

My first bet (#18) looks like this

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)

18 0.50 2.80 0.18

LOST
Next bet on week #19

The draw for West Ham is available @ odds 4.75

My second bet (#19) looks like this

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)

18 0.50 2.80 0.18
19 0.68 3.75 0.18

LOST
Next bet on week #20
13

The draw for West Ham is available @ odds 3.80

My third bet (#20) looks like this

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)

18 0.50 2.80 0.18
19 0.68 3.75 0.18
20 0.86 2.80 0.31

LOST
Next bet on week #21
14

The draw for West Ham is available @ odds 4.10

My fourth bet (#21) looks like this

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)

18 0.50 2.80 0.18
19 0.68 3.75 0.18
20 0.86 2.80 0.31
21 1.17 3.10 0.38

Portsmouth vs West Ham: 0 0 WON

15

As you can see, it took only 4 bets to reach my target profit of 0.50
That is 4 x 90 seconds = 6 minutes

Now lets have a look at the calculations one more time.

Before placing any bets, it would be a good idea to create a table

similar to the one below or just print the one you find on page 18

TEAM
Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)
18
19
20

Then, as soon as you have decided on which team to follow, write

down the name after TEAM which is West Ham, and your first
target, which is 0.50

TEAM West Ham

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)
18 0.50
19
20

For my first bet, the available odds for the draw were 3.80 so I
subtract 1 from this number and write it down in the next column.

TEAM West Ham

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)
18 0.50 2.80
19
20
16

Finally I will calculate the amount for my first bet, which is A / B

0.50 / 2.80 = 0.18

TEAM West Ham

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)
18 0.50 2.80 0.18
19
20

You already know there isnt very much time between your bets, so it
is better to already calculate your next target to save some time.

To do this you simply add your current stake to your current target.
0.18 + 0.50 = 0.68

TEAM West Ham

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)
18 0.50 2.80 0.18
19 0.68
20

We lost our first bet so we move on to week #19

The new target (0.68) is already there.
For my second bet, the available odds for the draw were 4.75 so I
subtract 1 from this number and write it down in the next column.

TEAM West Ham

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)
18 0.50 2.80 0.18
19 0.68 3.75
20
17

Finally I will calculate the amount for my second bet, which is A / B

0.68 / 3.75 = 0.18

TEAM West Ham

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)
18 0.50 2.80 0.18
19 0.68 3.75 0.18
20

Once again, there wont be much time between your bets, so it is

better to already calculate your next target to save some time.

To do this you simply add your current stake to your current target.
0.18 + 0.68 = 0.86

TEAM West Ham

Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)
18 0.50 2.80 0.18
19 0.68 3.75 0.18
20 0.86

Now you just wait for the result of your current bet.

If you win, you start a new session.

If you lose, you continue the table and the staking plan.

On the next page you will find a table you can print for your own
virtual football betting sessions.
18

TEAM
Bet # Target (A) Odds 1 (B) Stake (A / B)
