AIM and OBJECTIVES:

This course covers the theory and applications related to Earthquake Engineering. The
broad subjects discussed in this course include earthquake response of linearly elastic and
inelastic buildings, structural dynamics in building codes.

UNIT III PRINCIPLES OF EARTHQUAKE DESIGN
