Helium Leak Test of Titanium Pressure Vessel

Abstract :As a seal test , sensitivity of helium leak test is higher than other test methods as gas seal and NH3
leak test . With home - manufacture titanium pressure vessel increasing , seal requirement to these high temper2
ature and high pressure vessel is further. After finishing the vessel and ordinary seal tests , then helium leak
test is generally required for these vessel . Compared with pressure vessel constructed of steel , titanium pres2
sure vessel is obviously different on structure. If appropriate helium leak test plan is selected , it will be of
benefit to improving detectability and effectively secure titanium vessel safety and reliability.
