1 SCOPE
This document covers the Design Calculation for the Structure----------------------------- for Project------------------------.----------------------

2 DESCRIPTION OF STRUCTURE
The Elevated tank structure has Plan area of ------------.

3 DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
The Elevated Tank is designed for earthquake effects according to IS 1893 (Part II). The Tank is designed for the dynamic effects of s
as well as the effects due to fluid- structure interaction. When a tank containing liquid with a free surface is subjected to horizontal
ground motion, tank wall and liquid are subjected to horizontal acceleration,The liquid exerts impulsive and convective hydrodynam
on the tank wall and tank base in addition to hydrostatic pressure. In order to include the effect of hydrodynamic pressure in the an
idealized as a spring mass model , which includes the effect of wall- liquid interaction.
