3 July
(the 184th day of our Lord, in the year 2017)
Who is left among you who saw this house (temple) in its former glory? And how do you see it
now? Does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison? [Haggai 2:3]
We greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And before I forget to say it, a Happy 4th of
July.
We hope things are running along smoothly for you and those in your family.
In case you have not noticed, summer time is in full bloom. We can only hope that you are doing, or
will soon be doing three things; staying safe, enjoying yourself and above all, keep on keeping on for
Jesus!
It always amazes me how adaptable we can be as Christians. What do I mean by adaptable? All too
often we cave in and either do or try to become something, even if its momentary, that in reality we
walked away from a long, long time ago.
No, Im not saying its easy to stand for whats good and right, but I do know that its far better to
stand for something, than to fall for everything.
Cecilia and I continue our plans to relocate the ministry to the Philippines. I know, I know, Ive
heard it a thousand times, Thats impossible, or That place is too dangerous, or Are you sure? or,
my favorite, Why not go to a place closer to the U.S.?
To coin a phrase I heard a long time ago, Where He leads me, I will follow. And no, I am not
trying to sound holy; we all have to freely choose to walk the road that the Lord lays out for us. For me
[us], I [we] only have five words in my [our] defense, Im [Were] sold out for Jesus!
And in case youve never met a genuine, bona fide, dyed in the wool fanatic for Jesus well now
you have!
I aint (and forgive my grammar), trying to do what I want; its His Will that I desire; nothing more,
nothing less. All we ask is that you keep praying for us (specifically that we will always have the Mind
of the Lord in all things), supporting us, loving us and standing with us.

Someone once asked me, Pastor, what are the hallmarks of a true Bible believing, Bible teaching
church. My response was simple:
1. People are saved. By that I mean when the Gospel is preached, convicted hearts are stirred to
respond to the beckoning call of the Holy Spirit, Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.
When that happens, they in turn repent of their sins, asks Jesus to forgive them, cleanse them and
become the Lord of their life according to Romans 10, verses 9 and 10.
2. The sick are healed (James 5:14, 15)
3. Believers are baptized in the Holy Spirit (Acts 2, 9, 10 and 19)
4. Jesus is preached as the Source of Salvation, and the Cross is upheld as the Means by which all
victory comes to us (John 14:6, Romans 8:1, 2)
I believe there are 5 questions that every Christian has to come to terms with at some point in their
life:
1. Is Jesus Christ the Son of God?
2. Is there any other way to heaven except through Jesus Christ?
3. If we uphold moral standards and do good things, does this earn us anything from God?
4. If you had to stand before the Lord today, would you hear Him say, Well done thou good and
faithful servant?
5. Are you doing all you can to reach this world for Jesus?
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO is the title of my latest book that
was released in June. The book is written to give readers some practical what to do advice,
encouragement and insight into the myriad of situations that life often throws our way. Perhaps you too
are stranded at a crossroads and are now wondering, What do I do now?
Each of the eleven chapters provides invaluable lessons into the consistency, love, help and
immutability of our Heavenly Father.
