STUDY HALLS FLOW CHART
Criteria for Moving Students SH
Open Has a C- or lower, goes on a 2 week
SH probation period. If grade(s) do not go
up after 2 weeks, they move to CSH.
Closed Moving from closed study hall to guided
SH should be based on a review of the data
(could include 2+ failing grades on every
grade check, attendance concerns,
on-task daily behavior) from CSH,
students should first go on a 2 week
probationary period. If the student does
not make progress (continues to have
2+ failing grades), that would lead to an
I-Team referral.
Guided Once in guided study hall, student must
SH remain in there for a minimum of 6
weeks.
Students who have been moved from
OSH down can be moved back up if
they have a C or higher in all classes
after 2 weeks in CSH.
Students who are initially enrolled in
CSH must remain in for 4 weeks. If at
the 4 week mark, students have all Cs
or higher, they will have the choice to
move into a OSH.
*Students have a choice to remain in
CSH if they feel it helps them.
For a student to be considered for
moving into a CSH, the student must
have-
Passing grades in all classes
Has demonstrated the independent
skills (organization, on-task
behaviors, academics), and data
gathered from interventions proves
that the student can continue to
make progress with fewer
supports..
Final approval will be determined
by i-team.
