STEAM program open to students grades seven to 12

Registration is now open for students in grades seven to 12 to participate in AT&Ts Hand in
Hand STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) summer program from July 5
14 at the Health Sciences Charter School, 1140 Elliott Street, Buffalo. Sessions run from 9a.m to
3p.m.

Enrolled students will work to design and fabricate prosthetic hands using 3D printers and other
tech tools. The fully operational prosthetic hands will be donated to youth in Western NY and
abroad. Participants will be led by 14 high school student Team Leaders were identified to
receive scholarship stipends and special training.

The project is limited to 30 high school student. Interested participants are to email
info@wnystem.org for registration information. Registration fee waivers and transportation aid are
available to eliminate any economic barriers.
