The luxury product and life style product market is expanding in India very
fast. With the fast changing fashion trends and change in the urban and
rural life style given a boost to this market. The consumer are accepting and
adopting the global brands and global trends very quickly. The digital and
social media further fueled the growth of this segment due to its fast reach
to the targeted consumers.

While various estimates exists on the size and growth of the market but
an anticipated growth of 25% given the tremendous potential waiting to be
harnessed.

The luxury market in India accounts for 10% of the total retail and
expanding on a faster pace to reach $18 billion mark.

Increasing brand awareness among the Indian youth and raising purchasing
power of the upper class in Tier II and III cities would lead to consumer
spending touching $ 4.2 trillion.

With this growth and subsequent investment from luxury business, it is


estimated that by 2020 the luxury market in India will be employing 1.8
million people. This will not only preserve traditional craft skills and
heritage, but also support communities and creates employment and training.
The Company

The Company proposed to be incorporated as Rachnoutsav Life Style Private Limited,


Hyderabad. The proposed Company is a designer and manufacturer of unique, customized
Fashion Jewellery and Life style Products, primarily focused on the Event and Entertainment
Industry both for domestic and global Markets.

About the Promotors:


Ms Rakhi Kankaria

Rachnoutsav is the brainchild of Rakhi Kankaria. She is the genesis of journey called
Rachnoutsav; she is the execution and administration brain behind the inception and the growing
acceptance of Rachnoutsav in the market place today as a full spectrum events company. She is
responsible for bringing to life all the brilliant ideas that have come out of Rachnoutsav.

It was Rakhis clear foresight and articulate vision that metamorphosed Rachnoutsav into a
premium flagship brand in the event industry map of India. Rakhi also brings tremendous
material planning and sourcing acumen to the table. She has been the face of Rachnoutsav from
day one and delightfully compliments her husband and business partner Sanjays quiet demeanor
with cracking panache and zest!

Ms. Rakhi Kankaria has been driven by one basic idea to build an organization deeply
committed to Values, with the firm belief that success in business eventually but inevitably
follows. Unflinching commitment to Values continues to remain at the core of Rachnoutsav.
When Rachnoutsav set out two decades ago, few would have guessed the scale and impact in
professionalizing this industry. Rakhi Kankaria has played a major role here she continues to
provide thought leadership in this robust, futuristic industry

She believes that in todays increasingly fragile socio-economic ecosystem, innovation is a


powerful medium for enabling inclusive, transformational and sustainable change.
As a women entrepreneur having taken forward Rachnoutsav Events Pvt. Ltd. for over 18
successful years handling events across the globe, wanting to give back to the industry she
envisioned Rachnoutsav Academy.

Karishma Kankaria

She has specialized in fashion designing, interiors and life st yle accessor ies. She is
a gr aduat e from NIFT, prestigious fashion college, in the pearl city of
Hyder abad. Her primary focus, right from student days, is life style pr oducts.
Together, they propose to establish a facility for life style products.

Project Objective

The commercial objective is to produce Jewellery and life style products

The Social objective is to provide sustained Livelihood to


underprivileged women and other marginalized segment of society
by engaging them in the production process as Work Force.
To create a Jewellery and lifestyle manufacturing company whose primary goal
is to exceed customer's expectations.

To increase the number of designs offered on a customized basis.

These life style products assimilate new technology and process w ith global
competiveness.
The Process:

The project will primarily have four w ings

1. Design

The printing starts with design. One of the promoters has done a
specialized course w ith a reputed institution to handle this. The
design w would initially focus on fashion designing and accessories.
With the passage of t i m e it will be expanded to include other
industries such as ar chitecture, textiles and other industr ies in a
phased manner . These designs would be instrumental in
producing state of art Jewellery, accessories and other l ife style
pr oducts. These products can be used in event consumption, for
domestic as w well as for commer cial purposes.

2. Production

Pr oduction and fabr icat ion is the cor e function of life style purposes.
It basically differentiates and serves the actual need of presenting
prototypes of var ious products in original forms to give user s
original look and feel. The promoters have expertise in focused
areas. The academia is designed to supply adequate resour ces to handle
the production, marketing and in other disciplines.

3d printing cutting edge technology: After detailed resear ch and


study of var ious global trends, the promoters have settled on 3d
printing which assimilates and properly synergies the promoters
expertise and advance technology w ith a good value
p r o p o s i t i o n . This w would position the pr oposed company to
cater to the various industries w which the promoters have been
doing, w ith a better value position.

3. Inventory and Supply Chain Logistics


A state of Art Warehouse facility is proposed as per global standards.

4. Academia

A S k i l l b a s e d curriculum has been developed in house. A special t


raining pr ogr am has been developed for the faculty based on ILT
methodology. This inter-alia includes empower ment of
underprivileged, mainly w omen for their independent sustainability,
w ith a view to create self- help gr oups in future. A separate t
raining center w would be provided in the proposed site. The pr oposal is
also there to explore possibility to provide training online to make
its reach to assimilate more and more under privileged, skilled, Semi-
skilled and unskilled w o r k f o r c e living in remote areas.

In order to achieve both commercial as w ell as social objective, we


are associating w ith a partner who has car ved out a niche in these
ar eas. Our global partners have expertise in catering to the needs of
undeserved artisans in the fashion and Jewellery sector globally.
Their exper tise also including combing traditional casting methods w
ith new techniques offer ed by FDM (easy to use) and SLA (moder ate
and eventually) SLS (skilled) 3d printers, w hich will be used in ethical
fashion.
Their stake holders include r enounced global br ands. These partners
would strategically associate w ith all the facets of the pr oposed
ventur e, that is to say, design, production, supply chain logistics and
t raining and development of personnel and other associates.
