PROFILE
I am a teacher and a humanitarian professional by training with a genuine interest and commitment to make a
long term difference in the lives of those affected by disasters and crisis. I am looking for opportunities
where I can contribute to find durable solutions through social inclusion and consensus building. I bring
along a can do attitude and enjoy problem solving and multitasking in challenging environments. I hold
more than 20 years of work experience including teaching, project management, facilitation and capacity
building. Many of my assignments have been carried out at the community level and in the field including
five years of engagement with refugees and IDPs in volatile environments of North-East Cameroon and
Bangladesh.

WORK EXPERIENCE
2016-Present: Project Manager Key for Life Denmark (Part-time)
Assessment and analysis of target group's vulnerability, capacity and needs;

Prepared activities and status reports to be shared on their global platform;
Develop and support livelihoods program strategy outcomes;
Carried out risk analysis, risk monitoring, and assisted in developing preparedness plans
for DRR;
Assisted in writing concept notes and project proposals for EUTF, OFDA, PRM, ADF

Achievements
Prepared and presented a dashboard of the results of three rounds of the Displacement
Tracking Matrix (DTM) to the Humanitarian Country Team (HCT) in Cameroon;
Contributed in mobilizing financial resources from the ADF on social security (210.000
Euro);
Assisted in targeted distribution of emergency NFI and shelter kits to refugees and IDPs
for emergency and recovery programs;
Provided sector data analysis and trend tracking for our protection, shelter and WASH
projects;
Participated in developing a three year Strategic Plan for IOM Cameroon.

April-June 2016: M&E (Internship at) White Dove Consultancy Cameroon WDC)
Worked with the WDC Director to develop business cases, KPIs, and presentations to
plan and track the delivery of the strategy;
Facilitated and assisted in training and capacity building on gender issues, social
inclusion, and livelihood diversification of IDPs.
Achievements
Assisted in upgrading the Disaster Response Plan for flood prone communities in
Cameroon;
Assisted Grants Manager and Executive Director with proofreading proposals and
reports;
Took part in participatory data collection for the evaluation of the lake Nyos IDP
resettlement project sponsored by the UNDP.

Jan. 2013 to Aug. 2014: M&E Officer at: Modern Consultants ltd. Cameroon
Developed, implemented and monitored quality assurance guidelines, M&E plan,
reviewed secondary data and developed implementation plans;
Facilitated participatory community data collection and analysis through FGDs,
interviews, social and institutional maps, hazard mappings and seasonal calendars;
Outlined management information system, and defined reporting requirements formats
for standard reports (e.g., quarterly and annual reports);
Developed main tools for data collection, recording and management;
Achievements
Assisted in doing midterm and end of project evaluation on the impact of community
water and sanitation for rural communities of the South West Region of Cameroon;
Institutional development and capacity building of local Civil Society Organizations
(CSO) in areas like leadership, communication, organizational and change management;
Developed questionnaires and determined the sampling methodology for evaluations.
Facilitated quantitative and qualitative surveys.

2010-2012: WASH Team Leader in Emergencies (Northern Cameroon) ACEEN (NGO)


Scope: Responsible for all WASH, Livelihood, Hygiene kits and NFI distributions;
Ensured access of portable clean water, toilet facilities and hygiene education to
refugees and IDPs in Lagoone and Chari;

Promoted safe WASH practices, including appropriate use and maintenance of WASH
facilities and services;
Designed, implemented, and monitored WASH activities that are appropriate to specific
sectors of the community, e.g. children, youths, women, and men;
Participated in joint assessments and plans with other agencies and represented ACEEN
Cameroon in cluster coordination meetings.
Recruited, trained, and managed Hygiene Promoters and Community Mobilisers;
Achievements
Improved health and sanitation of targeted communities and the most vulnerable;
Successfully implemented WASH and livelihood projects where more than 60,000 IDPs
and refugees benefited;
Successfully distributed WASH NFI kits to households and installed effective hand
washing kits in community installations;
Provided oversight and led the construction of more than 1000 traditional and
institutional latrines with subsidies and active community engagement;
Established community WASH committees, recruited and trained volunteers and
hygiene promoters;
Facilitated reporting of monthly Cash Flows and prepared periodic reports;
Prepared baseline and End-line Surveys.

2006-2016: Project Coordinator at: Yer Area Development Authority (YADA), Cameroon:
Coordinated community development projects for Yer in Upper Dzekwa Cameroon;
Drafted project proposals, concept notes, memoranda of understanding, and funding
requests;
Established a monitoring and evaluation system and result-based framework.
Coordinated the activities of HIV/AIDS mainstreaming and different sectors
(Environmental, Rehabilitation of community infrastructure, livelihood diversification,
capacity building, Hygiene promotion, etc.) in a participatory manner.
Achievements
Applied and received hospital equipment for the community hospital from MS-
Denmark;
Established well functional and inclusive health and Sanitation Committees;
Coordinated feasibility studies for a sustainable community water project;
Mobilized the community to carry out human investments to repair community
infrastructure (taps, bridges and farm to market roads);
Strengthened men and women cooperative societies for savings, loan and credit creation;
Improved health, sanitation and livelihoods of Yer community.

Part of the team that developed a new curriculum on fight corruption in schools;
