FACTORS RELATED TO PREMATURE RUPTURE OF MEMBRANES IN
TK IV SARINGSIH HOSPITAL BANDUNG PERIOD MEI JUNI 2016 V Chapters + 76 Pages + 12 Tables + 7 Attachments Premature rupture of membranes (PROM) is defined as rupture of membranes before the time of childbirth. This could occur in late pregnancy and long before time of childbirth. Causes of premature rupture of membranes in most cases still unknown. Many research conducted, several doctors showed infections are the cause. Other factors that influence lower socioeconomic conditions associated with poor quality of antenatal care, sexually transmitted diseases, for example caused by chlamydia trachomatis and gonorrhea nescheria. Purpose of this research to determine factors related to occurrence of premature rupture of membranes in TK IV Sariningsih Hospital in 2016. Research design descriptive analytic method that conducted in order to determine factors related to occurrence of premature rupture of membranes. Sampling technique with technique of accidental sampling as much as 50 women who experienced premature rupture of membranes and 50 women who did not experience premature rupture of membranes. Data type collected primary and secondary data. Results from this research showed that frequency of incompetent cervix of maternal much as (42%), parity with number of 2-3 children (44%), history previous PROM (78%), Intra Uterine pressure (68% ), maternal age 20-35 years (46%), trauma (56%), genitalia infection (86%). There is a relationship between the factors and infections Intrauterine Pressure genitalia with premature rupture of membranes ( p value 0.05 ), while other factors are incompetent cervix, Parity, KPD Previous history , age , trauma not associated with premature rupture of membranes ( p value 0 , 05 ). Suggestions for more health workers counseling and provide information as much as possible about the danger signs of pregnancy , one of which prevention of infection to pregnant women.
