It appears that you have used the “Town of Elbridge” page to promote your candidacy for the Onondaga County Legislature. As a result of this alleged conduct, you could be charged with Official Misconduct (Penal Law §195.00), an ‘A misdemeanor, and Defrauding the Government (Penal Law §195.20(a)(ii)), an E felony. Additionally, we ‘may refer the case to a federal agency to investigate violations of the Hatch Act (5 USCA §1502(a)().
