book R eading Faster. The author ho lds that students use a fast read ing coursebook out o f tw o basic needs: read ing for
inform ation and im prov ing reading sk ills through gu ided reading exe rc ises. T he re fo re, the author cla im s any course-
book des igned to help students achieve read ing effic iency should try to accomm oda te these two needs by carefu lly se-
