(4) With lever (1) in FOURTH speed position, timing marks (4) must be in alignment.

(A) With lever (1) in REVERSE speed position, adjust the position of switch (3) to get a distance (A) of
1.0 mm (.04 in) between switch lever (2) and the corner of switch (3).

1. With lever (1) in FOURTH speed position, timing marks (4) must be in alignment.

2. Tighten screw (3) marked X first.

3. With lever (1) in FOURTH speed position, remove rotor pin from switch (5) and seal hole with 3S6252
Sealant.

4. Contacts of switch (5) will be closed when lever (1) is in NEUTRAL position and open in all other
positions.

5. With lever (1) in REVERSE position, adjust the position of switch (2) to get a distance (A) of 1.0 mm
(.04 in) between switch lever (7) and the corner of switch (2).
