CLASS ROOM REDEFINED YOUR STRATEGIC MOVE

IIT Foundation (Basic)

Unlike most school exams which are merely a test of memory and
presentation , the quality competitive exams like IIT-JEE test the student's
underlying concepts and his her ability to apply these to new situations and
problems. The Foundation course at BT is thoughtfully designed to help students
crack these exams. The P/C/M lectures and the corresponding assignment sheets
are carefully planned to help early generation of interests in these subjects. The
logic lectures further facilitate in developing the students analytical thinking and
problem solving abilities. Worth mentioning is that 2 of our foundation and
comprehensive students, Omkar Thakoor and Sahil Agarwal got AIR of 11 and 176
respectively in IIT-JEE 2010. Details of the course/ Course plan are as under:

For Champions Batch :

Apart from the above mentioned 5 'challenger' batches, there will also be 1
'champions' batch at Lloyds chambers. Getting the best students together is one of the
attributes that is common across all the top rank producing institutes throughout the country.
The concept of 'champions and challengers' batches, allows students to study with peers of
approximately the same intelligence level. This helps students to learn more and even the
To begin with the admission to the 'champions' batch at BT will happen on the basis
of our entrance exam. But after every BTest, there will again be shuffling and the fresh set
of toppers will be allowed to attend lectures in the 'champions' batch.

Why same course for 8 , 9 and 10 students?
1) The way teaching at BT happens is very different from the way it happens at most schools. Here,
though we teach all the topics from scratch, we add a lot of value even to those students who have
studied these topics before at school.
2) As the selection is merit wise, it really does not matter which class the student is from.
3) For outstanding students, there is always the 'champions' batch. Our past experience says even
the 'champions' batch (selection to which is strictly merit wise) will be a fair mix of 8th, 9th and 10th std.
