Admission-2017 guidelines

Dear candidate:

Before proceeding for online admission at SJPUC, please note that


1) SJPUC admits only boys.
2) Admission process is completely online. No application forms are issued at the college office.
3) The applicant or his parents must have a valid mobile number, a valid email id and any one of
these online money transfer facilities: credit card, debit card, IMPS transaction or American
express.

Admission process starts soon after SSLC results. The link for online admission will be
enabled on our website as soon as the SSLC results are announced.

Before you start the admission process online, please keep ready the following:

1) Class 10th Marks card


2) Caste/category certificate, if applicable.
3) A valid mobile number, a valid email id and any one of these online money transfer facilities:
credit card, debit card, IMPS transaction or American express.
4) For Catholic/Christian students, a letter from the parish priest/ pastor.
5) Sports certificate/ learning disability certificate, if applicable.

Admission process:
The admission process consists of these 7 steps.

1. Visit the college website: www.sjpuc.in and click on the online admission-2017 button. (Link
will be enabled soon after SSLC results).
2. Create an account with your valid email id and valid mobile number. A message will appear that a
link has been sent to your email id.
3. Open your email id and click on the link and activate it. Once you activate the link, a message will
appear that your account has been created. Login to your account with the email id and proceed with
the filling-up of the application form.
4. Fill-in the application form with the correct information and then click on the submit button.
5) You will be prompted for the online money payment options for the application-form fee. Use any
of the online money payment option to pay the prescribed application fee. [Rs 25(Twenty-five only)
for the year 2017].
6. You will receive a sms that your application has been successfully submitted. A two-page pdf file
of the duly filled in E-application form will be generated with an application number.
7. Take a print-out of the filled in E-application-form, paste a recent colour passport photo of the
applicant and submit it IN PERSON at the college office within the prescribed date with these
documents (attested):

1) Class 10th Marks card (attested by the school)


2) Caste/category certificate, if applicable.
3) For Catholic/Christian students, a letter from the parish priest/ pastor.
4) Physically challenged and dyslexia candidates must produce a copy of a certificate obtained from
the competent authority stating the nature of disability.
5) For those under applying under sports quota, Sports certificate

Note: You DO NOT have to upload any scanned photos or documents.


Please submit only the attested documents IN PERSON at the college office and collect the
stamped acknowledgement. The stamped acknowledgement indicates that your documents
have been verified and that you fulfill the eligibility norms laid down by the PU Board,
Karnataka.

All the original certificates have to be submitted at the time of interview only.

IMPORTANT: The candidate must submit the hard copy of the E-application form in person at the
college office with the required documents and collect the stamped acknowledgement. If you dont
submit the hardcopy within the given date, your application will not be scrutinized. The college is not
responsible for any loss thereof.

Caste/Category/Community certificate
The candidates who want to apply under a particular category/caste must possess the required
certificate. If the required certificate is not submitted, the applicant is treated under general merit
category.
The castes/categories are:

General Merit(GM), Christian(RC), Christian(Other CHR), Cat-1, SC, ST, OBC-2A, OBC-2B,
OBC-3A, OBC-3B, Others.

Prospective candidates may acquire the required certificates well ahead of time in order to
avoid last minute delays.

Please note that we do not take donations for any admissions. We do not have any agents
through whom you can procure admission. You are strongly advised not to give any money to
anyone who promises you an admission at our college. You will be doing so at your own risk.

The management does not entertain recommendations of any sort.

Successful submission of online application form does not ensure admission.
