ARM (make 2)
In body color, make an 8-st adjustable ring
Rnd 1: *Sc 1, sc 2 in next st; rep from *

Rnd 5: *Sc 1, sc2tog; rep from * around. (4

Fasten off yarn. Flatten open edge and sew
close. Attach arms to shoulders of body.
POPPY DRESS SHOULDER FLAP
With dress color, ch 6.
Working in back ridge loops of ch, sc 3 in
2nd ch from hook, sc 4 to end and fasten
off.
Working over the left arm, attach the back of
the shoulder flap to the back of the dress
using the leftover yarn tails. Lay the flap
over the left shoulder and secure the round
end of the flap to the front of the dress with
a few stitches. With white yarn, apply 1-2
long stitches across the front of the flap for
a stitch detail.
LEG (make 2)
In body color, make an 8-st adjustable ring
Rnd 1: Sc 2, hdc 2 in next 4 sts, sc 2.

Rnd 2: I n bl; sc2tog, sc 2, hdc 1, sc2tog,
hdc 1, sc 2, sc2tog. (9 sts)

Stuff foot and leg. Fasten off for a
completed leg or cont on for shorts detail.
For shorts:
Change to shorts color.
Rnd 6: Sl st 6.
Rnd 7: In fl; *hdc 1, hdc 2 in next st loosely;
rep from * around. (9 sts)
Fold down shorts edge down over leg.
Attach legs to bottom of body. With black,
add a butt detail if desired.
NOSE
With nose color, make a 6-st adjustable
ring. Sl st and fasten off in next st. Sew
open edge of nose to the front of the face.
With nose color, apply a large french knot to
either side of the nose.
EARS (make 2)
In body color, make an 4-st adjustable ring.
Do not join ring. Turn work.
Row 1: Ch 1, sl st 3, (hdc, dc, ch 2, sl st in
base of ch 2, hdc) in next st.
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Sew ears to the sides of the head with the
ch-2 points pointed up.
TROLL HAIR
Wrap yarn the long way around your phone
40-60 times. Cut the strands. Attach to the
top of the head with fringe knots and trim if
needed. For Poppy hair; Attach 6 strands
to the center of the hairline above the face
to be trimmed back for bangs. With hair
color yarn, tie the rest of the hair together in
a large bundle above the head.
Rnd 3: S l st 2, sc 1, ch 4, sk 4, sc 3 in next
st, sl st 4, sc 3 in next st, ch 4, sk 4, sc 1, sl
st 2. (24 sts)
Rnd 4: S l st 3, sc 5 in ch-4 sp, sl st 10, sc 5
in ch-4 sp, sl st 3 and fasten off.
Slide vest onto body and secure with a few
stitches.
POPPY HEADBAND
In green, ch 25. Starting in 2nd ch from
hook and working in backridge loops, sl st
24.
Position Poppys bangs to fall on either
side of Poppys face below the headband.
Join end of the headband at the back of
head, then tack down headband with a
backstitch, covering the attachment points
at the base of the hair.
POPPY HEADBAND FLOWERS
In blue, make a slip knot and ch 1. For each
petal: (ch 2, sl st in back ridge loop in 2nd
ch from hook), sl st in ch 1. Repeat for 2-3
more times for a 3-4 petal flower. Make 3
flowers and attach to headband.

BRANCH VEST
In vest color, make a 6-st adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: Sc 2 in each st around. 12 sts)
Rnd 2: *Sc 1, sc 3 in next st, sc 1; rep from
