4 Tensile strength (UTS), based on the maximum value of stress:

For Aluminum : 2.8916 MPa
:R=F /A
= 2.8916 x 10^6/3019.07
= 0.9578kPa

For Brass : 4.796 MPa

:R =F /A
= 4.796x10^6/3019.07
= 1.5886kPa

Yield strength (offset 0.2%) :

This is the value of stress at the yield point, which is calculated by plotting
Youngs modules at a specified percent of offset (usually offset = 0.2%).
For Aluminum :4.1
For Brass:9.2
5. Comparison the Modulus of Elasticity (E) for the material with theoretical value:
Aluminum:
Based on Hooks Law : E = /
= 2.8916x10^6/0.0589
= 0.04909 GPa
Based on book: E = 71 GPa
Therefore;
Percentage error % = theoretical experimental x 100%
theoretical
= 71 0.04909 /71x 100%
= 99.93%
Brass:
Based on Hooks Law : E = /
= 4.796x10^6/0.1017
= 0.04716 GPa
Based on book: E = 102 GPa
Therefore;
Percentage error % = theoretical experimental x 100%
theoretical
= 102 0.04716 /102x 100%
=99.95 %
