Abstract Salt spray test and fatigue S-N curve test of 7N01 aluminium alloy joints welded with ER5356 and ER5087
welding wires were carried out respectively, and the fatigue strength of welded joints under the condition of 10 7 cycle were
calculated. The surface corrosion damage ratio, fatigue fracture morphology of the welded joint were analyzed by using video
microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and other means. The results show that with the increase of etching time, the
surface corrosion damage ratios of the two welded joints increase, and the surface corrosion damage ratios of heat affected
zone are higher than that of weld area. Compared with ER5356 wire, the surface corrosion damage ratios and the average
depth of corrosion pits of the weld welded with ER5087 after salt spray test increase by 9.4% and 18.6% respectively, and the
fatigue properties of the joints welded with the two welding wires still meet the predetermined fatigue strength requirements .
