sequence of user group rollout. The larger boxes in the center show hardware requirements by type of
workload while the table at the bottom shows the hardware required to support each user group. You may
also want to examine the Recommended Architecture.

The numbers in the Control box are the hardware needed for XenDesktop & XenApp controllers, Provisioning
Services servers, StoreFront servers, XenClient Synchronizers, database and licensing servers, and other servers
that form the infrastructure for the recommended environment. The numbers in the Hosted VDI box represent the
totals needed to support Desktop-Based OS workloads (XenDesktop) and the numbers in the Hosted Shared box
represent the totals needed to support Server-Based OS (XenApp) workloads including published apps delivered
with a desktop.

This icon indicates the usergroup includes On-Demand Apps as a secondary FlexCast model and that its
hardware numbers include a portion of the Server-Based OS resources necessary for XenApp to publish
applications to those users.
