This physical education course focuses on performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Students must demonstrate the correct method of CPR, plan short and long-term life saving strategies, and identify the best solution for keeping patients alive. As their project, students are asked to consider challenges like performing CPR on obese patients and the impacts of improper CPR. They will be evaluated based on their demonstration of CPR techniques, life saving plans, and a 100-word report due on week 17.
