Napier Street Upgrade Bendigo

New parking opportunities will be provided at various points

Road works commence
Construction of stage one, between Kirily Court and Willman
Court will begin mid-July.
These works will involve building a new road surface and raised
central medians, making this section safer for all users.
Stage one works are scheduled for completion in November
2017, weather permitting. We thank residents and road users in
advance for their patience during these works.
During construction there will be unavoidable disruptions. We
will work to maintain driveway access for local residents, as
well as access to shops along the street. Traffic management
will be in place, including speed reductions, and we ask drivers
to take care and plan their trip accordingly.

requirements, as well as ensuring that this upgrade provides
safe options for all users, including cyclists and pedestrians.
Utility services relocations
Workers will be on-site between Hall Street and Bosquet Street
from late July to construct underground power.
We are continuing to work with other utility service providers on
plans to relocate services such as water mains and
telecommunications.

Bus stop changes

Throughout construction of stage one, bus stop arrangements
on Napier Street will be altered, and we have worked with PTV
on the following arrangements.

Two stops will cease to operate throughout stage one

construction:

Bendigo bound bus stop near McDonalds

Epsom bound stop near Hall Street.
Bus users will instead need to use the stops approximately 200
metres either side of the above, at the following locations:
