Head Boy Science Visit


Star ex-student and budding young
scientist Marco F visited our school
last month. Marco, one of our highest
achieving students at Edenham High
School is currently studying a Masters
Degree in Physics at St Johns College,
Oxford University.

On Tuesday 4th July we celebrated our annual Sports Presentation

Sports Captain Award


Sports Captain Award 2017 goes to, Aneesa and Jakub Year 10.

A group of 40 excited Year 7 students had the opportunity to visit


the Olympic Stadium in Stratford and watch some of the World
Para-Athletics Championships. The students got to see a World
Record in the Triple Jump final as well as some fantastic track
events such as the wheelchair 200m and 400m heats and the
visually impaired 100m heats. It was an enjoyable day and the
students that came were a credit to their Year group.

Sporting Records 2017 Arsenals Ball Squad
Kai, a Year 7 student attended Arsenals Ball Squad trials during
the Easter Holidays this year. He was up against approximately
170 other young people aged between 12-16 and had to show his
throwing and catching skills as well as participating in a reaction
test. To his surprise he was selected in the final 20 to make up
Arsenals Ball Squad Team for season 2017/2018.

As a Ball Squad team member, Kai has committed to work at every


Arsenal home game for the entire season starting on the weekend
of 29th and 30th July 2017 at the Emirates
Cup game. This is a huge opportunity that Kai
