DISCUSSION

A. HUMAN

Human language is also called human language, which in Arabic, which comes

from the word nasiya which means forgotten and when viewed from the basic word

al-uns meaning benign. The word human is used to refer to human beings, because

humans have the nature of forgetful and docile means that humans always adjust to

the new circumstances around him (Musa Ash'ari, Islamic Philosophy, 1999).

According to Muhammad Subuh, man is a creature of God whose existence is

desired by Him and overwhelmed by His power. God's power is already within him

that fills and encompasses the human self. Humans just stay up to the power of God

that is in him this with patience, trust, and sincerity. Humans are the most perfect

creatures ever created by Allah SWT. Perfection possessed by humans is a

consequence of their functions and duties as caliphs on earth. In addition to the above

understanding, there are also some notions about humans, among them:

1. Anthropological Flow

Man is the son of the cosmos The supernatural element in him is the source of his

power by man is the release of the evil natural element. Thus, man must be able to

erase the humanitarian personality to achieve independence from his natural coil. The

person in this group has a negative view of the world because it considers his

salvation lies in his ability to discard all his desires and desires. While ketakwaanya

more in orientation to the practices of hermitage and magical concepts. His goal

hudupnya intends to organize his personality into his impersonal reality.

2
2. Theocentric Flow

This flow assumes that man is his creation and must work for Him alone. In its

relative condition, the human self is an immortal migrant who will soon return to

God. For that, man must be able to increase harmony with ultimate reality and

transcendence through piety. With his piety, man will gain that perfection also, man

will become the ideal figure, capable of radiating the attributes of divinity in the

mirror himself. This kind of condition that in time will save his fate in the future.

The theocentric man is a static man who is often trapped in absolute surrender to

God, resignation makes him have no choice. To him, all his actions are essentially

God's activities. He has no choice but what God has set. In that way, God becomes an

absolute ruler who can not be challenged.

3. Flow of Convergence or Synthesis.

This flow believes that the essence of human power is a process of cooperation

between the trasendental power (God) in the form of wisdom with temporal (human)

power in technical form.

4. Nihilis flow

This flow assumes that humans are merely a small form of mechanical activity in a

coincidental society. The power lies in the human ingenuity of oneself so as to do the

best of the worst. Ideally humans have a physical glory, which is the central point of

the whole human struggle.

3
B. KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge is what is known to man or the outcome of the work of man to know.

That knowledge is the possession or content of the human mind which is the result

From the human effort process to know. In its development human knowledge

differentiated into four main branches, philosophy, science, knowledge and insight.

From the above understanding, it is clear that knowledge is born because humans use

reason that has been given by God properly.

C. RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN HUMANS AND KNOWLEDGE

As the most perfect being among God's other creatures, man is given by God some

of the advantages that other creatures lack of reason and reasoning. The human

capacity for reasoning and reasoning is possible in humans because it has the most

perfect brain structure in comparison to the brains of various other living things.

Therefore, in everyday life people always keep trying to add and collect knowledge.

Science The knowledge gained is to preserve this earth from all the damage, because

humans are sent to be khalifah on this earth.

Humans gain knowledge from the experiences they gain (empirical) as well as

the logic they possess (rational). With that experience human beings constantly

process it by way of thinking so as to produce a science. Intelligent humans will be

able to explore the collection of knowledge necessary to manage this earth. However,

it is not always the knowledge that human beings get

4
Useful, there is also knowledge that was causing problems or harm. On the other

hand, Islam considers that the degree of man is determined by how much knowledge

he possesses, so that with that knowledge he is able to know his attributes, and is

capable of performing the duty imposed on him, that is to worship wholeheartedly

and devote himself only to- His.
