Algebra II Unit 1 Pacing Guide

Hartford Public Schools

Unit 1: Functions and Inverse Functions serves as both a review and an extension of functions from Algebra I.
Familiar content is reviewed in new contexts, such as linear programming and conic sections. The Unit then extends
students understanding of functions by examining the important concepts of function growth, transformation of
functions, creating new functions from old, and inverse functions.

Note: During Year 1 of implementation, all recommended assessments are optional.
