site plan
A specific type of plan, showing the whole context of a building or group of buildings.
A site plan shows property boundaries and means of access to the site, and nearby
structures if they are relevant to the design.
floor plan
A cross section, also simply called a section, represents a vertical plane cut through
the object.
longitudinal section
A rapidly executed freehand drawing, a quick way to record and develop an idea,
not intended as a finished work.
Computer-aided design
A small apartment usually consisting of one main living space, a small kitchen,
and a bathroom.
house mansion
Any specially designed apartment on an upper floor, esp. the top floor, of a building.
bungalow
1. A small house or cottage usually having a single story and sometimes an additional
attic story.
2. A thatched or tiled one-story house in India surrounded by a wide veranda.
cottage house
multi-storey car park of floors or levels on which parking takes place. It is essentially a
stacked car park.
garage A building or indoor space in which to park or keep a motor vehicle.
day care center A nursery for the supervision of preschool children while the parents work.
