Procedure:
1. Enter to Sr 93 bAL.
2. Select imaging program 9a.
3. Select the channel to adjust. Start with the mid
channel, which is selected by default.
4. Select Test mode (T). Press the exposure button to
drive the unit into position for adjustment of the
selected channel.
5.
Select Manual mode (M). Appropriate exposure values
are selected by default (85 kv / 8 mA, QA filter for mid
channel; 60 kV, 2.5 mA, no QA filter for left and right
channels).
Fig 5.222. Open the small allen screw, push the pin in its position and lock it in
its place by tightening the screws.
2. The ear holder center pins and the x-ray focal spot
must be in line. Adjust the ear holder alignment
following the steps below.
Turn the ear holders into the lateral view position.
Prepare CLINIVIEWTM for image capturing. Make an
exposure.
Both ear holders have a small metal pin and ring that
should be visible in the image: the rings and pins
should be displayed in the same point, one within the
other. The larger ring represents the tube side, and the
smaller ring the cephalostat CCD sensor side.
If the pins cross each other, the ear holders must be
adjusted.

at the chin support.
2. Place Digital Test Tool (part no. 68799) at the test tool
holder (part no. 68737), which is attached to the
carpusholder.
4. Make an exposure.
5. Analyze the image. To see details as good as possible
it may be needed to adjust brightness, contrast and
gamma.
6. The mentioned standards recommend that the
cephalometric test object image should have at least
2.5lp/mm high contrast resolution and at least 1 of the
holes visible for low contrast performance.
