_After making massive gains in technology during the
Four Year's War, Starfleet was anxious to not squander their
hard fought tactical advantage. As hostlies seemingly drow
toa close, an ambitious dreednought project wae started asa
false in case of renewed Klingon hostltes. Primarly bull
round all new technology, the class would be the fst o utlize
the maseive epit nacelle XEVIF-1 engines as well as tinary
shield generators along with massively increased phaser and
photon torpedo mounts. large tertiary hull uted out back
from the saucer containing the massive FID-3 impulse
engines, horizontally oriented warp core, and the connected
{engine pylons.

‘dependent on the upcoming M.S computer system which, after
Years of delays, ended in colossal fllure during fld testing.
While the prototypes didnot result ina full production run of
[powerful Federation battleships, they did succeed notably in
their role a testbeds for new technology. The FWF- engines
and inary shield generators were both ultimately refined and.
Used on many Starlet classes, most noteaby the
Constitution, slong wit the M-4 computer that debuted
