Ali Educator; It appears that you have done a fantastic job, Kaitlyn!!!! I don't have any suggestions for the overall, but I
Grava School Leader; wonder what more you will do in order to continue to work with the teachers in professional learning to
Loyola maintain the amazingness that your internship started with One Note and such. Well done!

Debby Educator; As Kaitlyn's presentation illustrated, her "internship" was not really a typical internship. It was an
Technology opportunity for her to use her technology, teaching and leadership skills to play a key role in the
Department; implementation of our school technology initiatives. As one of the school's most talented and dedicated
teachers, Kaitlyn was ideally suited to be a leader in the integration of technology in our school in
pedagogically meaningful ways. She worked tirelessly to ensure that nothing fell through the cracks, even,
as she mentioned, when we had a big transition in the leadership of the technology department at a key
moment in the organization's 1-to-1 program using the Surface Pro 4
As the technology integration lead in the Technology department, I have benefited immensely from
collaborating with Kaitlyn and from her sharing ideas and knowledge she gleaned from her graduate
studies. Her dedication to our students and teachers is boundless. As we move forward to integrate
technology to boost instruction in our school, her vision of how technology can meaningfully enhance
learning has created a terrific foundation. I know she has many more ideas and look forward to our future
work together.
Ashley School Leader; Overall the 1:1 roll out was successful. While there are areas for growth, I believe the strengths of the roll
Lowry out included the professional development in preparation for and throughout implementation. Kaitlyn did
an excellent job of personalizing the PD for all faculty and staff and spent countless hours working with
each individual based on his/her needs. Included in this element was the Tech Boot Camp which was a huge
success with the faculty who attended. The only feedback here would be for myself and other school
leaders that the training provided in the summer would be beneficial for all faculty to receive, rather than
limiting it to volunteers. Areas for growth are largely centered around infrastructure; mainly power sources,
and in connection with that device selection. When the school first decided on using Surface Pros for their
preferred device the beta test was done with the Pro3 which seemed to have a much longer battery life
that could last the better part of a day. However, with the upgrade to the Pro4 the batter life was
dramatically reduced making infrastructure and power sources that much more important. Continuing the
evaluate the ways in which technical/mechanical barriers can be removed to encourage tech integration is
key to on going success.
Overall, Holy Child has benefited tremendously from Kaitlyn's work through her internship. She introduced
the ISTE standards and other models of technology integration that has helped Holy Child become current
in it's tech use practices and continues to challenge the school to strive for even greater integration.
Additionally, Kaitlyn fulfilled an extremely important leadership roll in the "tech ed" field, previously not
accounted for at Holy Child, and did so with great success. All members of the faculty and staff trust and
depend on her work and guidance regularly. Without her expertise, the school would not be able to utilize
the many tech resources available to its greatest extent. These resources include greater utilization of our
SMS, Veracross, our cloud based software platform, OneDrive/Office 365. She has served as an advocate
and example of what is possible in education with the use of technology.
