E.L. said she was at East City Park in Moscow, Idahq with Keagan, Timothy and
Z.W. onluly'l'6,2017. Th"y called Matt (unknown last name) to come and pick them up
because they were planning on going camping. E.L. said Matt's dad, Charlie and Matt

Idaho and got to their camping spot on Nora Creek at approximately four or five in the
evening. E.L. said the next morning she was sleeping and when she woke up Keagan and
Tim were sitting across from each other and she heard Z.W. screaming and heard two shots
and when she rolled over she saw Tim lyiog on the ground with blood coming from his

E.L. said they went to look for Matt who left earlier in the morning before the

one way around the pond they were camping by and Keagan went the other way to go
look for Matt. E.L. said Z.W. and.her were afraid of getting lost so they doubled back and

bowl. Z.W. said he took a couple of hits off of the pipe and went back to sleep. Z.W. was
woken up again by Tim and Tim said if they didr/t wake up they were going to fire the
guns so they would wake up. I asked if Tim, Matt and Keagan had been smoking or
drinking when he woke up. Z.W. said they finished all of the beer the night before. Z.W.
said the second time he woke up the pipe he was smoking mariiuana out of the first time he
he was asleep. Z.W. said the second time he was woken up he decided to get up and get
dressed. Z.W. walked over to the fire pit and smoked marijuana with Matt, Tim and
Keagan. Z.W. said Matt left to go get the UTV so they could go hunting for porcupines.
I asked Z.W. to tell me about the guns. Z.W. said there were two air rifles and two
real guns. I asked Z.W. to tell me about the two real guns. Z.W. said there was a silver .38
revolver pistol with black grips. I asked who brought the pistol andZ.W. said all of the
guns belonged to Matt except for one of the air rifles that was Keagan's. Z.W. said there
was also a 30.06 bolt action rifle with a brown wood stock that covered most of the barrel.
Z.W. said he first saw the pistol on Sunday night. Z.W. fkst remembers seeing the 30.06
Z.W. said they degided to walk down to Matt and meet up with him and let E.L.

they moved over to the tarp, where E.L. was still sleeping. Z.W. described to me where
Tim, Keagan, E.L. and him were located in relation to the tarp by drawing a picture of the
layout of the campsite. Z.W. saidE.L. was sleeping on the northern portion of the tarp and
Keagan was sitting on the ground by the southwest corner of the tarp. Tim was sitting on
the ground on the southwest corner of the tarp facing Keagan. Z.W.said he was about a
foot to the west of Tim facing towards Keagan. Z.W. said Keagan and Tim were playing
around with the guns, like Russian roulette. Z.W. said the guns were unloaded but at some
point they loaded the pistol and rifle. Z.W. saidthere was only one round in the pistol and
he thinks Keagan had three or four rounds loaded in the nfle.Z.W. was loading the glass
pipe with marijuana while Tim and Keagan were messing around with the guns. Z.W. satd
Keagan had the rifle and Tim had the pistol and they were pointing them at each other.
Z.W. said he heard Tim tell Keagan, "You feeling frogry nigger, jump nigger jump ." Z.W .
said Tim didn't finish the last "lump" when the rifle went of!..2.W. said the round went
through Tim's face by his cheek. Z.W . saidTim fell backwards and the pistol that was in his
hand fell onto his chest. Z,W,said the hat Tim was wearing went flying and there was a lot
of blood coming from Tim's eye, mouth and nose. Z.W . said he saw Tim's brains go flying.
Z.W. saidhe got up and started walking towards the fire when he heard another gun shot
and saw a bullet hit a stump in front of him. Z.W. thought the round went by his hip. Z.W .
said he was yelling at Ke4gan, 'Keagan stop, you just killed my brother stop." Z.W. said

rifle down next to him and started wailing around on the ground and rocking back and
forth. Z.W, said he was afraid of what Keagan would do so he grabbed the pistol olf ot
Tim's chest and put it in his backpack. Z.W. said they agreed to go find Matt but E.L. and
him did not want to be with Keagan so they had Keagan go in the opposite direction as
them. Z.W. said he was getting lost so E.L. and he headed back to the access road that led
to the campsite because they knew it led out back to the main road . Z.W.said if they could
not find Matt they were going to go back to the shop and call the cops. Z.W. said E.L. and
him did not have a working phone. As E.L. andZ.W.were watking out to the main road
they were met by Matt and Keagan in the UTV (Mule). I asked what was said when they
met up with Matt and Keagan.Z.W. said he would not talk to Matt or Keagan because he
just watched Tim get shot and the rifle used by Keagan was in the UTV. Z.W. said E.L. and
him rode back to the campsite with Matt and Keagan.Z.W. said he stayed in the UTV and
did not want to go back to the campsite because he did not want to see Tim's body. Z.W.
said he was told by E.L. that Matt and Keagan were going to take the body somewhere
else. Matt and Keagan said they were going to put Tim's body into the back of the UTV.
Z.W. said he walked down the road because he did not want to see them moving Tim's
body. Z.W. said Matt and Keagan wrapped Tim's body up in the white tarp he and E.L.
used to sleep on. Z.W. said Matt and Keagan couldn't carry Tim's body up the
embankment to the UTV so they wrapped a rope around his legs and pulled him up to the
access from the campsite by using the UTV winch. Z.W. saidthey put Tim's body into the
back of the UTV. Z.W.said they drove back towards the shop on the private driveway
road. Z.W. said they stopped on the private driveway a little ways before reaching the
main road. Z.W. aidhe saw Tinrls body in the back of the UTV and told Tim bye and then
walked down towards E.L. to check on her. I asked if he saw Matt and Keagan remove
Tim's body from the UTV and he said, "Yeah, I saw his head hit the ground." Z.W. said
Matt and Keagan removed Tim's body from the UTV and drug him down into the woods
Z.W. said they went back to the campsite and E.L. and Z.W. gathered their stuff and
went back to Charlie's shop. I asked about Tim's stuff. Z.W. said it should be in a c.uno
backpack. Z.W. said he thought Matt and Keagan were going to burn all of Tim's stuff.

Z.W. said he had a comforter that was black on one side and gray on the other that was
used to cover Tim's body. I asked if he had anything of Tim's. Z.W. said he had Tim's

and then he smoked marijuana with Matt before leaving to go to Charlie's shop. Z.W. said
E.L. and him got a ride from Charlie to the Pullman Public Library in Pullman,
Washington.
I told Z.W.I wanted to have him show me the location that Tim's body was moved
to and the campsite. Z.W. rode with me in my deparfinent vehicle. There were already
several law enforcement units on scene when we arrived . Z.W . thought a particular area
looked familiar as the area Tim's body was moved to. We stopped and got out of the
vehicle and walked down the road to the south. Z.W.showed me a section of the private
driveway that he believed was where Tim's body was taken to.
Z.W. andl walked back up the road to the north where my vehicle was parked. I
was informed a couple of minutes later a body was found wrapped up in a white tarp by

I was informed by Sgt. Josh Anderson that Z.W.led them to the location of the
campsite. I was told by Sgt. Josh Anderson that they were able to locate the campsite with
Z.W.'sassistance. In the areaZ.W.said the white tarp was located Sgt. |osh Anderson told
me they located brainfragments and largeareas of blood pooling. A gold and silverwatch
with blood on it was located on the access road right by the campsite.
During my interview with E.L. she told me she contacted Keagan and Matt on July
78,2017, and told them to meet her and Z.W. at Rosauers in Moscow. E.L. said she told
Keagan and Matt they needed to talk because they were going to go to the cops and report
what happened. E.L. said she waited at Rosauers but Keagan and Matt never showed up
and they would not answer their phone. As of 07 / 19 / 2m7 , Matt and Keagan have not been
located. The last time they were seen was by Matt's adoptive father, Charlie McKetta, on
07/19/2077, at abr:rut 1100 hours. Charlie said Matt and Keagan stayed the night at his
