Invitation: PwC
Leadership Academy
2014
PwC Leadership Academy
Background
PwC Aruba has organized two Masterclass Leadership sessions in the past two years. During these
sessions it was expressed by the participants that there is a lack of such sessions on the topic of
Leadership. Additionally, everyone indicated that one session a year is not sufficient to really embed
leadership into daily practice. Directors and managers clearly expressed their needs for a forum where
they are able to discuss and share their thoughts, experiences and knowledge with their peers, in order
to learn and grow as a leader.
Based on the above PwC Aruba decided to create the PwC Leadership Academy. This Academy enables
the business community to let their leaders grow through thought sharing, learning experiences, and
discussing about leadership. After all, individual growth leads to organizational growth.
Objective
The PwC Leadership Academy is intended for supervisors, as well as managers and executives.
The objectives of the PwC Leadership Academy are as follows:
1. To elevate leadership in Aruba.
2. To provide a forum/platform for leaders to come together to discuss and share experiences.
3. To strengthen the relations and network of leaders within the business community.
2014 program
The 2014 program will be all year-round and consist out of the following:
1. Quarterly workshop and networking possibilities
2. Four coaching sessions
3. Masterclass Leadership attendance
4. Quarterly online leadership literature
The quarterly workshops and networking possibilities are exclusively for the members of the PwC
Leadership Academy. However, members of the Leadership Academy are allowed to register one guest
for one of the four network possibilities per year, if seating permits.

2. Four coaching sessions
Members will have the opportunity to schedule four 1-hour individual coaching sessions with PwC
during the calendar year. These coaching sessions are exclusively for the members of the PwC
Leadership Academy and will be on a one-on-one basis. During the coaching sessions PwC will help
the members on how to put the topics of the workshops sessions into daily practice. All coaching
sessions will be scheduled in the month after each workshop.
Note: non-members of the PwC Leadership Academy are also allowed to register for the Masterclass
Leadership.
University of Aruba
The PwC Leadership Academy will be conducted together with the University of Aruba. Together with
the university we will provide quality and up to date leadership material on a wide variety within the
leadership spectrum.
At the end of the PwC Leadership Academy year in December, each member will receive a certificate
of participation from PwC and the University of Aruba during a closing ceremony.
This certificate, if applicable for participants would also be valid for PE (permanente educatie voor
accountants) points.
