Petition for Extension: A- Line Waiver

Dear Mr. Lauby:

RTDC is writing in regard to the FRA granted waiver of compliance from certain provisions of Title 49 Code
of Federal regulations (CFR) Part 234, Grade Crossing Safety, originally granted on April 19th 2016, for
highway grade crossings on RTDC's A-Line between Denver Union Station and Denver International Airport.

RTDC respectfully requests an extension to the FRA waiver for the A-Line highway grade crossings to allow
for the review and approval of the Measurement and Performance Criteria Document.

RTDC recognizes and appreciates the level of support and cooperation that the FRA has given to the Eagle
Project and wishes to continue to work collaboratively with the FRA team toward the resolution of the grade
crossing performance issues. RTDC can provide further information as required for FRA's consideration of
